I've heard very little buzz around this, youtube announcement got few views, the AMA got like 5 questions and all my gaming circles/websites/discords aren't even talking about it. Was this project the right move for Beamdog? Seems like such a far cry from their usual work, as if it came out of left field. Was there any official statement on why this game was chosen? I hate to be negative but I feel like the efforts should have been directed elsewhere. I supposed only time will tell.

What's your favorite/most interesting class to play?
Hey all! I'm trying to shake up my playthroughs with new classes I haven't used before (or haven't used effectively before -*cough thief cough*). I've been browsing through guides for ideas, but it got me curious- what's everyone's favorite class to play? Did any class really surprise you with how good/fun it was?
I'm a pretty experienced player, so tricky-to-do-well ideas are also welcome!

Mod or way to chose simulacrum spells?
They way it is currently set up, the game puts your spells in your known spell slots in alphabetical order. This makes it so I can't chose which spells my simulacrum will know, which is quite annoying. It didn't used to be like this in original version.
Anyone know how I can get around this?

Boxing Thread
Edit: Topic changed.
Noting I'm not an expert, I'd like to point out I have always felt that it'd be a relatively easy win for Mayweather, provided he doesn't throw the fight. Having heard every educated voice largely agreeing with me, I feel like at least I'm not a complete noob. ;)
So, I expect Mayweather's mobility and quick thinking/skill will still dominate this matchup, with Mcgregor landing surprisingly few blows. I suspect Mayweather will be able to strike with safety despite having less reach, again due to mobility and skill, though I don't expect Mayweather to get a knockout, I do expect a dominant performance.
The only edge I can see, and the only strategy that Mcgregor could bet on would be to get a few lucky punches early, most likely at the cost of being punched first. He's a bit heavier, and though MMA fighters don't get punched like boxers (either as powerfully or as constantly, as they have other options), he'll be used enough to being hit to make trading blows early a necessity. If Mcgregor fumbles on these trades, he might get knocked out, but I don't see him winning this fight unless he can slow down Mayweather, and giving him either some very big body shots (...these guys aren't heavyweights, so no padding on the tummy) or daze him a bit. I don't expect this to work, Mayweather has beaten probably quite a few professional boxers trying the same strategy, to hurt him early to bring him down to earth.
General point, I really don't understand why either sport is really happy about this matchup; if Mayweather loses somehow (thrown fight), his perfect record is ruined, and after he has gone hill a bit most likely. It's not 30 yo Mayweather vs 20 yo Mcgregor, which would have been more fair, heck 5 years ago this would have been more interesting, though Mcgregor was a nobody back then. If Mayweather wins, he's managed to get a payday he really didn't need, but probably couldn't bring himself to turn down. This is very much about the money, as are all matches, but pitting an undefeated champion vs a guy nobody had heard of a few years back is absurd, and a bit offensive. I don't think Mcgregor earned this match, period. It's insulting to boxing to sanction this, but I'm getting rant-ey now.
Yeah, about that 'out of nowhere' thing, is this going to be a consistent UFC thing now, pretending any champ is the 'greatest ever'? Because thats really lame. Am I the only one that thinks UFC is faker than boxing?

Pathfinder:Kingmaker Minimal and No Reload Thread (spoilers, obviously)
Inspired by @JuliusBorisov 's last two threads for D:OS and PoE, I'm inspired to make this one.
The "rules" here are very simple: Just state whether you're attempting a minimal or no reload, tell what difficulty you're playing on, and whether you have any mods. If you fail a no reload, feel free to continue it as a minimal reload. As a minimal reload, keep a counter at the bottom of how many times you've reloaded, and why. I'd suggest that any more than 5-10 reloads is not a minimal reload. Also, there should never be any save scumming to get a better result on any dice rolls. Only a total party wipe or a main character death should be cause for a reload.
Here's my first entry, which is also my first time playing Pathfinder:Kingmaker:![bnopiqo1zne2.jpg]()
Here is my journal, which hopefully gives some idea how far I've gotten on this first run:
One of the things I've noticed, after having just clawed my way painstakingly to level three, is that this dungeon I've wound up in, is awfully reminiscent of the Nashkel Mines (one of the first long dungeons in the game, kobolds everywhere). I don't see how they could have not been thinking of BG1 and the Nashkel Mines when they created this.
This game seems to be heavily influenced by all of Baldur's Gate, Pillars of Eternity, and Dragon Age: Origins. I give it kudos for that.
I have had one reload so far. I encountered a planned story event where my main character was so badly debuffed he would not be able to ever rest again until the event quest was completed. I was told to search near a river. The first place near that river I went to had a cave where I thought I might find my solution, but it was filled with wererats, including one throwing firebombs, who turned out to be way above my ability to fight. The game does not allow retreat from a dungeon (cave). So, that was a party wipe. I still haven't tested whether it is possible to retreat from an encounter outdoors.
The "attack of opportunity" mechanic, combined with relative movement speeds, leads me to believe that it is impossible to disengage from any fight once it has been triggered. That is like a lot of other games, including PoE, D:OS, and even MMX. I think a lot of contemporary game developers creating old school games are *trying* to force you to reload frequently.
How much I continue posting is partially dependent on how much interest this thread generates, and how many reloads I have to do while learning. We'll see how it goes. But I wanted to try this.
BTW: Steam says I have 19 hours invested so far in this first run.
EDIT: I forgot to say, I'm doing my first run on Normal difficulty.
EDIT: I am going to keep editing this initial post to help keep my reload counter, so that I can easily copy-paste it into future entries with no fuss.

The topic for unhappiness/vent your sorrow
What I saw functioning well on other fora and what I hope functions well here too, is a topic to get things that trouble you, make you down, keeps you worried and just want to vent off your chest. Nice replies are welcome, though just getting things off your chest is good to. Let's refrain from full debates though, that would derail the topic.
My spleen: tomorrow is the big release day, but I have the flu right now, feeling very tired and ill and not fit enough for gaming. If my condition is the same tomorrow, I'll feel too miserable to take a new CHARNAME on an adventure of the Enhanced Swordcoast (now! new Enhanced Swordcoast! with Wild Mages and Evil Blackguards! but please can somebody give me a potion of healing or cast a Cure Disease on me).

[Kit Pack] Deities of Faerûn - v 1.9.7.4 [49 Cleric Kits and more for IWD, BG(2)EE and EET]
Hi :)
Link to Download
This kitpack is made of some components:Kits
The kits per se. At the moment there are 42 kits: Arvoreen, Auril, Azuth, Baervan, Bane, Baravar, Beshaba, Bhaal, Clangeddin, Cyric, Deneir, Eldath, Garagos, Haela, Helm (revised), Hoar, Ibrandul, Ilmater, Jergal, Kelemvor, Lathander (revised), Leira, Loviatar, Malar, Mask, Mystra, Myrkul, Oghma, Red Knight, Savras, Selûne, Shaundakul, Shar, Shiallia, Solonor, Sune, Talona, Talos (revised), Tempus (revised), Torm, Tymora, Tyr (revised), Ulutiu, Umberlee, Urdlen, Valkur, Velsharoon, and Yondalla. Those deities also receive multiclass kits! Check the next post to know more details. All the kits were designed to be as close to PnP as possible, being changed only what could not be done within the Infinity Engine boundaries or would impact gameplay balance too much. Every kit receives its deity personalized Holy Symbol which grants while equipped: Bless, a +1 bonus do Turn/Command Undead, a +1 bonus to spellcasting time and one extra level spell for every circle. The Holy Symbol is automatically granted once the cleric reaches level 25. On top of that, some kits receive new and exclusive spells. Check the Readme file to get more info! Be aware that some kits were altered to fit their PnP counterpart (as Tyr) and some abilities were completely altered (like Seeking Sword)!Sphere System (by Kjeron)
Did you notice the spheres listed? DoF is shipped with its own sphere system. There are a total of 25 spheres: All, Healing, Necromantic, Suffering, Animal, Vermin, Plant, Protection, Sun, Moon, Darkness, Thought, Combat, Creation, Summoning, Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Divination, Travelers, Weave, Trickery, Time and Vocal. Check the Readme to see the spells that are embraced by this sphere system. Kjeron made the base code and I'm currently importing spells from IWD, but the component is plenty functional.Install Order
DoF should be installed after mods that introduce items to the game and that introduces spells to the game (as IWDification, B_Spells, and Raduziel's Universal Wizard Spells). DoF should be installed after mods that introduce NPCs that receives a kit from DoF (see the list below) - otherwise the installation of those components will fail. DoF should be installed before mods that introduce Kits that will use the Sphere System. DoF should be installed after EET, except for EET_End that should always come last accordingly to K4thos and EET's Readme. DoF should be installed before Improved Shamanic Dance. DoF should be installed before Tome and Blood. This mod is fully compatible with @kjeron 's Dual-Into-Kits and I strongly recommend that you use it, many kits on DoF have a very nice synergy with dual-classing! DoF is not compatible with Faiths and Powers. DoF is not compatible with Spells Revision. Before blowing your mind even further let me tell you guys about the things I know that are wrong but I can do nothing about: Know Issues * A multiclass R/C or F/C of one deity that gives d10 as HD will have 2 extra HP when created in ToB. I have no idea why. * The Fear Gaze from Shar's Eyebite can sometimes turn the target berserker. It is a problem with the Opcode, not something I did wrong. * Speaking of problems, Anomen will be able to get proficiency as an unkitted Fighter (5 slots in any weapon) but he will still be bounded to Helm's equipment restriction, so be wise about what you'll do when leveling he up. You won't have this issue if you use the aforementioned Dual-Into-Kits mod. Wait? Anomen? YES! Next component!Kits for NPCs
Every single NPC-priest from the game (including some added by mods) receives one of those kits. Some adjustments were made in terms of stats and alignment so they can fit the kit's requisites. It's true: some powers were lost (Branwen no longer has Spiritual Hammer, Yeslick no longer has Dispel Magic and Quayle no longer has Invisibility) but only because those were powers that were there to simulate the kits abilities - what now those NPCs actually have! PS: Tiax can still summon his undead because that was not a kit-related thing, it is a character-related spell. The current mod NPCs supported by DoF are: * Branwen for BG2 (Battleguard of Tempus) * Dave (Stormcaller of Tempus) * Drake (Holy Justice of Tyr) * Dusky (Silentwalker of Mask) * Finch* (Glyphscriber of Deneir) * Gavin (Dawnbringer of Lathander) * Helarine (Doomguide of Kelemvor) * Korin (Hawkeye of Solonor) * Nephele (Horn Guard of Solonor) * Quayle for BG2 (Hoodwinker of Baravar) * Shar-Teel for SoD (Bloodreaver of Garagos) * Tenya (Waveservant of Umberlee) * Tiax for BG2 (Strifeleader of Cyric) * Turald (Trailblazer of Marthammor) * Yeslick for BG2 (Alaghar of Clangeddin) * Yvette (Heartwarder of Sune)* Finch's original thread can be found here. I've linked the Beamdog thread because I don't know if the original one works with Enhanced Edition.
Do you have an NPC mod of a Cleric and want to crossmod? Get in touch! :)
Well, I think it is over... BUT NO, IT IS NOT!
Thanks to @CamDawg 's guide and huge help from @kjeron we now have some...
Stronghold Alterings (by Kjeron)
Hold your breath, cause here comes the list! Actually, he built this, all I did was testing (a lot). Thanks, mate!Kits' Colors
Based on Tweaks Anthology, this component will make all non-magical armors, helmets, and shields use the kit's assigned colors instead of those imposed by these items. That means that your Holy Strategist of Red Knight will go around wearing a red full plate instead of a pale blue one. All the kits' colors were designed accordingly to the pictures provided by Faiths & Avatars, Powers & Pantheons, Demihuman Deities and Monster Mythology. If you think that some color is not tuned with the ones from those books get in touch and I'll gladly edit it. --- For future references, info about all my mods (bug fixing, new releases) may be also found on my Twitter: /raduziel Thanks. --- I need to say thanks to some people here: @kjeron , dude, you deserve a statue. You're the most helpful person I ever met. @Gwendolyne I would never have started modding if it wasn't for your kindness and patience. @subtledoctor and @Grammarsalad for encouraging me with this work and letting me use their sphere system. @CamDawg and @argent77 for the helpful codes and tools. @Aquadrizzt for the multiclass-kit tool that made the NPC kits possible. @Arctodus for the brainstorming. @Necromanx2 for all the patience and bug reports that made this mod better.↧

Mage Belt Buckle Color Change
This is probably the most asinine post here, but what's up with human male mages and their belt buckles?
I started a new game of BG1 today and made my standard human male sorcerer and he had a ugly brown belt buckle. No matter how many times I changed his colors, the buckle remained brown. I tried making the character multiple times, still a brown buckle. I thought they used to have nice silver ones.
Just to be sure I wasn't crazy, I loaded my LAST BG1 save from a previous run and lo and behold, a silver belt buckle! I took off all his gear to be sure - and yes it's silver.
I've attached a screen shot. On the left is the new character with the brown buckle and the left the older save with the silver.
Like I said, changing colors doesn't do squat. Does anyone know what's up here?

Petrification / Polymorph Save Busted, or Just Confusing?
Maybe I'm not looking at it right, but I've got Dorn to a "1" save vs. Petrification / Polymorph. This was achieved by getting him to his normal Blackguard Level 6, then giving him the Claw of Kazgaroth. a +1 Ring of Protection, and Adoy's belt. However, when he charges Basiliks like a mad man he saves on a 1 and up (I've seen it with feedback on). Then he's suddenly dead in just a few seconds because even though I have the hit rolls feedback in place, he just gets petrified with no roll shown. Not sure if Greater B's have this power?
But you know, on closer examination of the Claw of Kazgaroth - It looks like it only gives +3 to Polymorph and NOT Petrification/Polymorph combined.... But I have seen him save on 2, 3, and 1... (1 makes no sense but I've seen it.. should be an auto-fail)
He still is failing A LOT and becoming Petrified ridiculously fast... So not sure if there's an issue or not. How can he save sometimes on like a 2 or 3 and sometimes be auto-petrified with no roll? Oh well, back to the more tried and true ways of fighting them I guess. I thought I beat the system.

Companions from " The Siege of Dragonspear" to be added to BG 2 EE
Dear Beamdog!
I am writing this letter on behalf of hundreds of your players, based on months of researching and analysis.
We enjoyed Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear so much that it became one of our favorite games. We feel like this game can also enhance the Baldur’s Gate adventure and experience, and means so much to all of us.
We’re deeply sad that there’re no plans to include quests and NPCs, related to Siege of Dragonspear, into Baldur’s Gate II:Enhanced Edition. [1] Not only it’s sad because new BG storylines and new Infinity Engine characters, locations and items could be exciting to play, but because stories from Siege of Dragonspear are not finished.
EXAMPLES
Caelar Argent is left in Avernus, but she’s alive. The way she as a character was built, and the fact she can join your party at the end of SoD means she was supposed to be a returning character in Baldur’s Gate II:Enhanced Edition. We all know that in Shadows of Amn, and especially Throne of Bhaal, the main character becomes so powerful that she could return to Avernus and save Caelar Argent. her Story is obviously not finished yet and a plenty of BG gamers are still using hashtag #bringBackCaelar, made by Dev6, across the Web. It became a real battlecry.
Caelar Argent, the Shining Lady:
Safana. Baldur’s Gate II provides stories for a few BG1 NPCs, whose stories were changed in SoD. For example, Safana is supposed to be the main substitute for Imoen during SoD, but in BGII she still acts as in 2000, with no explanation why she became so hostile to the main character with whom, supposedly, she travelled to Avernus, and back, and with whom she could even have a romance in SoD.
Skie is killed in SoD, and it is very heart-breaking to every player, because there’s no resolution to this story. During one of the livestreams it was revealed the Soultaker quest was planned for Baldur’s Gate II:Enhanced Edition but it was cut. [2] As of now, there’s a plot hole in the storyline: what happened to Skie, what happened to the Soultaker, did Irenicus use this powerful dagger? Questions, without any answers.
Corwin and Glint. The Siege of Dragonspear introduced new romances. There’re players there, for whom these romances are the best, and whose characters will forever be in love with Corwin, or Glint. Again, with all the power the main character gets in Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, this character, being in love with a SoD-only NPC, would do everything to return and take this NPC into his or her party.
Captain Schael Corwin:
These were just 4 of numerous examples why content related to the Siege of Dragonspear would be welcome by players. We don’t talk about a free patch, we understand creating such content is diffucult and pricey effort. This is why we ask Beamdog to create and release a paid DLC to continue stories started in Siege of Dragonspear.
Neera, the Wild Mage:
CONTEXT
For the last year, the most popular request after every licestream, was about Siege of Dragonspear-related content for Baldur’s Gate II:Enhanced Edition. Let us just quote players (and check out big amounts of reactions those posts got):
To finish our community letter, we would like to share this amazing Siege of Dragonspear fanart. Fanart can go a long way to show how much the game means for people. Please, Beamdog, create new Siege of Dragonspear-related stories, so that our biggest dreams could come true.
References:

- In January, 2015 Beamdog Studio Director said: “If Adventure Y is a success I would like to do a SoA->ToB expansion”. [3]
- In June, 2016, Trent Oster admitted that Siege of Dragonspear “has been a success for us and continues to be a success”. [4]
- The subsequent launches of Siege of Dragonspear on mobile, where reviews for SoD are very favourable (both on iOS and Android) show that it indeed continues to be a success.
- In September, 2018, you said that you “might add content to Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition one day”. [5]
- All the polls show that the content for SoD in BGII is a desired feature.
- These are the results from the official forum. 80% of the users who voted in the Poll “Content from Siege of Dragonspear in BG II:EE”, voted for “Yes, we need the new content for SoD and BG2”. [6]

- It doesn't even have to be a full on expansion and I would still buy it.
- I very liked new areas, and for me this was the best sod aspect so yes just for new areas i would be good to add sod npc, even more becouse EENPC and they quest locations also have great art. New items was also great with interesing ideas and new opcodes. Caelar will give great chance to rescue quest and some kind of roleplaing redemption. We have Saverok and Viconia but i hope it can be made fresh.
- Put M'khiin in the Copper Coronet slave ring, replacing one of the kids. She can join the party when you free her. One dialogue and no new quests for a brand new NPC, all in a way that would fit right in with Shadows of Amn. You could do the same thing for Voghiln, Glint, and Corwin. Voghiln could be telling tales at the Five Flagons, Corwin could be investigating the missing people in Imnesvale, and Glint could be doing gnomey things somewhere else.
- If they sell it as a DLC then those people who don't want it or who have never played Dragonspear would not need to have the characters in game. I think they could make any of the characters show up with a little effort. Again, it doesn't have to be a full expansion. If they just released a medium sized DLC, I'd be happy.

- “When is Beamdog going to announce adding a plotline for the Soultaker into BG2EE?” [8]
- “We want M'Khiin and Glint in BG2!” [9]
- “Is it a final decision? It would be a pity” [10]
- “Excited for that patch roll out. How about plans for adding a resolution for the soultaker to BG2EE?” [11]
- “Congrats on finishing the 2.5 patch for BG2EE! Why not take a victory lap and finish the Soultaker plot thread as well?” [12]
- “The 2.5 patch cycle is nearly finished. Will there be small hotfixes in the future, to patch up smaller issues like bug fixes and regressions, so that player's won't have to wait months or years for bugfixes? Also, what are Beamdog's plans to finish the SouldTaker plot thread?” [13]
- “The Soul Taker expansion was originaly planned for BG2, so even if your reasoning makes somewhat sense, I'm not sure that's the real reason why Beamdog didn't make it. Again, Beamdog purposefully created a cliffhanger in SoD with clearly obvious plan to do another expansion for BG2.” [14]
- “I too would be interesting to hear more about this. When I purchased BG:EE and BG:SoD, I sort of hoped that Beamdog would close their own unresolved plots.” [15]
- “I just finished SoD. I feel kinda down that none of what I did there really matters. I romanced Corwin and feel really shite that I will not see her again after all that. Is there any chance you guys are going to expand BG2 more? Maybe letting us continue with the characters you added in SoD? I'm sure you have read many fans' thoughts on how you could meet them again and it seems plenty possible. Also, the SoulTaker plot line... I really have unfinished business there.” [16]
- “How about plans to close the Soultaker plot hole?” [17]

Why i like Warhammer Fantasy more than 40,000
I know i am in the minority and i might sound ''heretical'' but i find myself more interested in the original fantasy battle version of Warhammer than its space opera counterpart 40k for the following reasons.
1. The empire of Karl Franz is more nuanced and likeable than the pretentious nazi-puritans of the imperium.
2. Skaven are the most hilarious villains in most gaming universe.
3. The Dwarf Trollslayers and Giantslayers. Chaotic Good barbarian dwarves with a mohawk who regularly kill monsters much bigger than them.
4. Some of the best vampires in any canon.
5. Fantasy chaos warriors are blood thirsty psychotic Vikings who listen to bands like Slayer and venerate their ancestors >>> 40k chaos space marines are like edgy teenagers who listen to bands like Seether and have daddy issues and they are Sith and Mandalorian fanboys.
6. Landmarks and geography with history and character all over the place. 40k has few notable places that feature continually in the fluff (this is due to 40k's vastly larger galactic scope).
7. Fantasy has no invincible Mary Sues that I can think of (vs 40k and its several Matt Ward creations)
8. Dark elves more nuanced, seductive and interesting than the campy edgelords dark eldar
9. 40k is too fixated on Space Marines, Chaos and Orks while other cool factions (Necrons, Tau and Tyranids) get the shaft.
10. Fantasy was a better tabletop game. It had its issues with barriers to entry but once you got over those it was amazing. 40k was/is more or less decided during list building (same with age of sigmar); fantasy was decided on the battlefield. I feel mentally drained after a 4 hour 3000 PT game of fantasy. I am usually thinking about stuff I have to do at home an hour into a game of 40k.
11. Fantasy seems like an amazing place to run a detailed and darkly humurous D&D style RPG. The villains are real people and not over the top screaming warlords turned sour by the system. All these groups just fighting to survive on one planet. It’s got weight.
12. Fantasy is a light hearted dark comedy, while 40k tries too hard to be grimdark and controversial.

"Maybe this time" [NO-RELOAD THREAD]: "The Tale of TEN THOUSAND Trials"
In the depths of the old bioware forums, there are arcane threads hundreds of pages long and eons old that recount the travails of countless adventurers that tried to get through the entire trilogy without reloading. There are also already several excellent threads by @semiticgod @Blackraven and many others detailing their no-reload challenges.
I suggest that we share our no-reload/trilogy attempts in a common thread. Bioware forums show that there is synergy in such combined threads that keep solidarity far beyond the attempts of single adventurers.
Here are some suggested rules for a trilogy run that I use [adjust your own to taste and announce]:
1. no-reload [otherwise, there is no point]
2. SCS
[I recommend the following setup for both BGEE/BG2EE: full AI improvements; improved encounters only without rule-changes to monsters; NO insta-buff mages -- full SCS *will* kill you, if not trimmed as such reasonably.]
(SR would be great, but it is still in beta.)
3. no "munchkining" [personal taste, of course]
a. fair rolls for stats [i.e. don't touch the +/- buttons; re-roll if you want to]
b. no meta-game abuse [e.g. using a thief to scout is fine, but don't buff up for an ambush you couldn't have known about]
c. no EEkeeper abuse [I like making my FMC human for flavor, but it is perhaps overkill to make a Dwarven Defender/Mage with +++++ in Axes...]
d. "Do unto the AI as you would have the AI do unto you."
Basically, avoid doing things that AI is incapable of.
Example: As per the discussion in the following link, I do not permit myself to use Sequencers mid combat. They are no longer an obvious first choice for a Sorcerer. (Casting 3 spells a round really breaks the balance.)
https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/44257/7-3x4-8-3x6-9-3x8
4. Any party size, solo or full team. Role play strongly-encouraged (and without such a gameplay theme, I loose interest in my own runs usually).
(If you wanna skip BG and start in BG2 it's also fine. My own OCD usually requires me to start from the very beginning, but I suppose this is impractical.)
Personally, in a decade of trying, I never finished a trilogy run (although did get as far Ch. 3 in BG2). I have seen others succeed in completing, so it is surely possible.
Entries welcomed!

Sanctum of the Archmage: Enhanced Edition
I've been working in recent weeks on developing an EE compatible edition of the Sanctum of the Archmage modules, which is mostly done now. I should be able to release SotA:EE Edition v1.0 after another playtesting run, probably in a few weeks at most.
I took advantage of the opportunity to add a couple of new features that I had cut for the remake that I released in September. Aside from minor typo fixes and the like, I also did a complete re-write to both the XP and the crafting systems. Players should now be able to advance to level 11 by the end of Chapter 2, and the penalties for using companions and summons have been flattened. Players should also be able to craft many more (and better) items from both mundane and magical materials alike.
I'm not planning to do much more to revise Chapter 1 and 2 for EE, though. The reason is that I've decided that any new modding efforts on my part are probably better devoted to resuming development of Chapter 3, which I suspended several years ago to begin writing my Sanctum of the Archmage novels. I've opened up the third module again in the EE editor, cleaned it up, and finally finished the extensive scripting needed for the elaborate "flying system" that it will feature.
Finishing Sanctum 3 will likely take a while, given my other commitments (writing, work and life in general). But all of it will be done in and for EE. And I'll be looking to take advantage of every opportunity I can to include new content and features made possible by the extended edition.
