Loving the Game

Just wanted to spread my love for the polished product that is Baldurs Gate Enhanced. I remember when it first came out and years later it is refined and sleek.

I love how they re-did the NPC leveling system so that you can level up and build them as you please. Just got Shar-Teel at level 6 and made her into a dual wielding savage with the Dagger of Venom and Varscona.

Can't wait to finish this playthrough and begin the Siege of Dragonspear.

Can't seem to enter Throne of Bhaal/Leave Pocket Plane

Fortunately or unfortunately, I was streaming at the time it happened so I made a highlight of it.

After completing the last challenge of the five in Throne of Bhaal, it doesn't let me leave through the gateway. I'm not sure if this is supposed to trigger, or if there is some event preventing me from continuing. I've done all the rooms, I even checked back to make sure I hadn't missed any. Game seems to lag and cursor starts messing up after I try clicking to leave. This is my first playthrough of this game so I wasn't sure what was going on at first.

I attached my save-file.

Ponieważ dzisiaj premiera tej gry, myślę, że dobrze by było ogłosić, jaki jest status wersji polskiej.

Niestety polska wersja, zawierająca przetłumaczone nowe teksty nie wyjdzie dzisiaj ani jutro. Spodziewam się, że ukończymy ją dopiero za kilka miesięcy. Terminu ukończenia jak takiego nie ma When it's done.

Dlaczego tak długo?
Na szczęście dla graczy (mniej dla nas ;) ), BG2:EE zawiera bardzo dużo nowych treści. O WIELE więcej niż BG:EE, a należy przypomnieć, że wszyscy robimy to w wolnym czasie. Ponadto należy zaktualizować stare treści, ujednolicić słownictwo i tego typu rzeczy. Chciałbym zauważyć, że CDP wydał BG1 oraz BG2 również kilka miesięcy po premierze światowej :)

Czy pogram sobie dzisiaj w BG2:EE po polsku?
TAK. Jakby nie było, ciągle zasadniczą częścią gry pozostają stare treści, które są w wersji polskiej. Jak przy BG1:EE, będziemy więc co jakiś czas aktualizować tlk, abyście mogli grać w to, co udało nam się już skończyć. Ze względu na tryb prac, może się zdarzyć tak, że do tlk-a wpadnie jakiś jeszcze niesprawdzony fragment, dlatego nie bądźcie wobec nich zbyt krytyczni. Podobnie udostępnimy paczkę z polskim dubbingiem.

Jak zainstalować polską wersję?
Należy pobrać plik dialog.tlk i podmienić ten z folderu lang\en_EN. Jest to mocno niepełne spolszczenie, w większości stare treści+trochę nowych.

2. Rozpakuj paczkę w głównych katalogu z grą (tym który zawiera .exe), nazwę go eg: C:/BG2EE/
3. Ściągnij najnowszy plik "dialog.tra" (link)

Nadmienię tylko, że te pliki wrzuciliśmy tu tylko po to, abyście mogli od razu w miarę komfortowo grać w BG2:EE. Nie mają one jednak nic wspólnego z ostatecznym oficjalnym wydaniem – czegoś może brakować albo coś tam jest niepotrzebne. Myślę, że lepiej będzie, jak skupimy się na rzeczywistych pracach, a nie tego typu łatkach.

Życzę miłego grania w BG2:EE i cierpliwości w oczekiwaniu na pełne tłumaczenie.

Anyone up for making Drow portraits of NPCs for Portraits Portraits Everywhere (PPE) mod?

Isandir made some great ones back in the day here:

But there are quite a few missing for a complete set for the EE game.

Dorn, Edwina, Neera, Hexxat, Rasaad according to my calculations should be done.

These guys won't have to be done for various reasons:

Yoshimo (DOA), Wilson (immune), Sarevok (TOB)

I'm not sure if Clara/Hexxat should be done or not. Is it possible to take her to the underdark?
If you want to make Yoshimo for sentimental reasons I would include it too.


Please use the stock images, as Isandir did and 210x330 size. Here's the Edwina I'm using:

Foundling: Between the Shades BETA is available. The mod fully playable, may need some polishing. I've decided to made the BETA version available.

Foundling is the thrall of Thaxll'ssillvia, the Shadow Dragon found in the Temple Ruins. He is cold, calculating, and determined to be freed from his influence. He can never oppose his master on his own, but everything can change thanks to the influence of the Bhaalspawn.

Foundling is a Shadow Adept who can use Shadow Weave Magic as well as some Shadow Magic. The mod introduces a new kind of magic with its own advantages and disadvantages. Even though Foundling is recognised as a mage, he can't use the Weave. In exchange he is given his own dark spells - mostly dark versions of well known spells, but there are some brand new ones too.

The mod is both an NPC and quest mod and introduces new characters, areas, music, items, soundset etc.

Foundling is not romanceable, but the character will still talk to you frequently, so no worries.

Wrongly accused

I have been accused of having done something wrong which I did not commit!

I have received a what is called an "Abmahnung" in German.
I was asked to stop my wrong behaviour immediately and pay attorney fee
for sending the Abmahnung which is about 400 Euros (about 437 UDS as of now)

(see link: "In most cases, the law allows the party sending the
letter to demand payment of legal costs associated with the sending of the letter.")

I did not commit this wrong behaviour. The Abmahnung says they have proof
and a witness.

Which cannot be the case because I know that I did not do the thing I'm being accused of.

At the moment I do not want to disclose what exactly this case is about because
it's ongoing.

I will disclose everything here once it's settled or via PM to people I've known here for long enough.

However I need to vent, let off steam right now.

Since I received that Abmahnung I've been on a rollercoaster of negative emotions.
From angry to upset to depressed to wrathful to simply confused.

At the moment I'm listening to battle music from Animes, it helps me getting into fighting
mood to fight this injustice.

Currently I'm in Evil Queen mode, except that I'm not the villain here.

If you know good battle music which fits the themes of crushing evil/enemies, of victory or of preparing for a grand battle please share. Or if you know scenes from tv shows or movies where someone was wrongfully accused and finally gets justice/revenge, please share that, too.

I don't know whether to cry or scream about this injustice.
I don't sleep well anymore. And I cannot concentrate on my studies anymore.

Custom NPC Portraits Masterthread [Spoilers, obviously]

Hello everyone :)

First of all, I am aware, that there already exist some threads about custom NPC portraits but I found them all to be rather confusing, so here is my attempt to make a proper masterthread where everyone can easily find whatever portrait(s) they want to use for their game.

This thread is under constant construction!
That's why I highly encourage you to post your own works and finds here (don't forget to source), so that I can add them to the startpost. So check back once in a while, in case there may be the perfect portrait you have always been looking for ;)

Here are a few highly subjective* "quality ensurance" guidelines:
1. The portraits shouldn't clash too much with the in-game art styles (i.e. too cartoony, cell-shading, b/w, etc.)
--- Exception: Complete packs with portraits for most/all NPC companions
2. No simple "facelifts" (meaning that they are only mildly photoshopped versions of the official ones; it would be nice though if someone else could make a different masterthread for these)
3. No obvious "facesteals" (i.e. popular actors, characters from other media, etc.) and joke portraits
4. They should resemble the original designs to at least some degree (i.e. don't just suggest any random drow portrait for Viconia)
5. They need to fit size wise. If half the face would be cut off or there would be too much negative space for the in-game version, it's out.
*that means that there are almost certainly going to be folks who will disagree with my decisions on wether an image goes into the gallery or not

Depending on how this thread goes, I might sharpen or lighten the guidelines on the go.

BG:SoD - pytanie o instalacje/kompatybilność.

Witam , mam spore pytanie, posiadam BG:EE po polsku (prosto z Biedronki) :D, oraz BG2:EE spolszczone fanowsko

Poza tym mam kompilacje modów (zapomniałem nazwy, ale to taka mega paczka do wyboru do koloru z modów + kilka swoich) do BG:EE i BG2:EE, obie gry działają bez zarzutów nie licząc linii dialogowych dzięki niektórym modom są po angielsku (bo sam mod jest po ang. xd)

No i tutaj jest moje pytanie, słyszałem ze nowa część BG łączy obie części, ale w jaki sposób ?? Czy na moje gotowe gry z modami moge jakoś zainstalować ten nową część ??

Jeśli nie, to czyli w takim razie mógłbym to zainstalować na gotowe gry, ale bez modów ??

Remove / reduce the flat + 80hp on legancy of bhaal

Hello fellows, i tried a couple mods to reduce this hp incrase bonus on the dificulty, but I belive that any modifications that I dia happens before de hp boost, so, every time that I remove a flat - 80 what happens is that I kill a bunch of the npcs of the game Just for be close tho they


Anyone could help me witch that?

Does internet require cruelty to be lively? (Embarrased to see myself at so many last posted slots)

... when I am at it!

I should apologise for the provo in the title, but I just wonder why do I see myself at even five topics at the top, when this is such a great fora.

But also there are periods when I am not online. Here I am not hassled for being inconsistent, as in starting a fire, but not putting it out.

I frankly think Beamdog fora are great: moderated, and bound together by some minimal kindness by understanding this is an open space for all, and gamers in particular.

This would be my primary fora home at the moment.


Is it also yours? Do you feel empowered or inhibited by the good qualities of these fora? Do you enjoy what is here, but require titillations of the cruel internet?

If this pulls out any lurkers, I'll be more than glad! :-D And as should be clear, I really do love Beamdog fora.

Instalace módů BG2:EE není nic složitého, ve většině případů pouze nakopírujete mód do složky s hrou a spustíte instalaci, což může být například "Setup-Saerileth.exe". Instalačním menu je primitivně jednoduché, takže tam stačí psát písmena a čísla, podle možností které chce vybrat. Pokud by to mělo být jinak, tak to napíšu v popisku.

Módy upravují soubor s češtinou, takže pokud si po jejich nahrání aktualizujete češtinu, tak je to rozdrbe a musíte je odinstalovat a znovu nainstalovat (ale ve stejném pořád v jakém jste je instalovali. To ale může být problém, pokud máte najednou nainstalovaných víc jak dvacet módů, (jako já), takže pozor. Pokud to tak učiníte, tak to naštěstí nerozdrbe probíhající úkoly které byly přidány módy, takže nebudou žádné konflikty se starými savy a můžete normálně pokračovat ve hře.

01) Unfinished Business (CZ)
Aneb co v BG2 být mělo, ale nestihlo se dodělat před vydáním.
Přidává nové úkolů, nové předmětů atd. Tento mód je naprostou samozřejmostí i pokud si do hry módy normálně neinstalujete. Protože mód obsahoval pár (nyní) zbytečných věcí a pár věcí které nefungovaly (obecně nefungují na EE) tak jsem vytvořil vlastní verzi tohoto módu, která tyhle věci neobsahuje. Jedná se o nejaktuálnější verzi módu, takže je tam přidaný i jeden, nebo dva úkoly, které ještě nejsou přeložené. Celkově je ale na 95% v češtině.

Štve vás, že ve hře není dost paladinů? Vzrušují vás náctileté dívky? Pak je to mód pro vás jako stvořený! Patnáctiletá Saerileth, paladinka a Tyrova vyvolená se hlásí do služby! Naleznete ji v chrámové čtvrti. Nejedná se o nějaký tuctový malý módík. Můžu s přehledem prohlásit, že se jedná o asi nejrosáhlejší NPC mód jaký kdy vznikl. Nové předměty, nové úkoly, nové příšery, nové oblasti, romance a nyní můžete požádat řád Paladinů, aby vám pomohli s cestou do léčebny. Saerileth má neuvěřitelně dlouhou a propracovanou romanci. Navíc nemusíte jak puk čekat až něco řekne. Může k ní normálně přijít a zahájit s ní rozhovor (Samozřejmě má i samostatné rozhovory, vztahující se k aktuálnímu dění), ale nemusíte s ní jen mluvit. Můžete ji obímat, hladit, líbat a později možná i něco víc. Romance samozřejmě pokračuje i v ToB. Dejte si ale pozor, Saerileth je paladin tělem i duší a nesnese když někdo koná zlo (a pokud jste zlého přesvědčení, tak se ve hře vůbec neobjeví). Navíc je vybíravá, takže pokud budete příliš oškliví (ověření charisma), tak nebude mít zájem o žádní intimný vztah. Saerileth je kompletně nadabovaná a mód je komplet v češtině (až na pár nových zápisků v deníku).

03) Krev Adalon
Tento mód přidává pár mini úkolů a možnost alternativního vyřešení úkoly týkajícího se zbroje z lidské kůže. Nyní je možné, aby byl úkol vyřešen, aniž by byla Adalon zabita, což jistě ocení hráči kteří hrají za dobro, ale zároveň chtějí tu fajnovou zbroj.

04) Rozšířená zlodějská gilda
Hodně lidí si stěžovalo, že zlodějská úsedlos je nejskroměnší, co se týká úkolů a rozhovorů. Tento mód to mění, přidává další rozhovory, dodatečné úkoly a nového obchodníka.

UPOZORNĚNÍ: Jestli chcete aby vám mód (správně) fungoval, je třeba začít novou hru, nebo alespoň použít takový save, kde jste ještě nenavštívili přístavní čtvrť.

05) Isra
Stará známá paladinka z první dílů se vrací i do BG2. Komplet nadabovaná, s novými úkoly, novými předměty a tentokrát i s plnohodnout romancí. Naleznete ji v hostinci na promenádě.

06) Sheena
Jeden z mých nejoblíbenějších módů (s moc pěkným obrázkem) a zároveň mód, který chci rozhodně přeložit. Rudá polodračice Sheena. Je to bojovních/mág oplývající možností přepínat mezi lidskou formou a formou polodraka (nebojte, není to příliš OP). Romance je samozřejmostí, ačkoliv je trocho škoda, že nepokračuje v ToB.
Najdete ji v doupěti jejího otce (kdo by to tak asi mohl být?). Je to velmi užitečná společnice, ale za její společnost musíte draze zaplatit a nejdřív zpráskat jejího taťuldu.

Varování !!! : Až budete mít klíč, její celu je třeba otevřít jako první.

07) Yasreana
Další z mých oblíbených módů (v budoucnu ji chci přeložit), drowí bojovnice jménem Yasreana. Dabing, "romance", úkoly, předměty, takhle holka má všechno a to ani nemluvím o naprosto úžasném obrázku. Mělo by se asi taky zmínit, že se jedná o hodnou drowku (která moc nemusí drowy zlé). Velkou výhodou je, že ji potkáte hned na začátku hry, těsně před východem z vězení (takže pokud už jste se dostali z Irenicova vězení, tak už ji nezískáte).

Trochu jsem vám vyčistil její portrét :-)

08) CoM Encounters
Velmi zajímavý mód, který přidá nové setkání na mapě světa, nějaký ten malý úkolek, opraví inteligenci u některých soupeřů, přidá pár nových obchodníků s novými předměty a hlavně naprosto nádherně udělanou róbou (Konečně vypadám jako pravý nekromant!). Jeden z nich prodává opravdu silné předměty, ale jejich ceny tomu odpovídají. 72 tisíc za Katanu +4 se mi zdá odpovídající :-)

09) Dungeon Crawl
Trochu rozsáhlejší dobrodružství , inspirované webovým comixem. Odehrává se hlavně na čtyřech úplně nových mapách a obsahuje nové předměty, úkoly atd. Tuhle partičku dobrodruhů potkáte u měděné čelenky. Dobrodružství je určeno spíše pro nižší úrovně.

10) Assassinations
Otevírá se před vámi kariéra nájemného vraha. Zabíjejte, podvádějte, ukažte soucit, nebo buďte sami podvedeni. Nakonec můžete vyváznou, nebo skončit před soudem. ( Pro začátek si promluvte s barmanem u Měděné čelenky. ) Tomuto módu dávám 10/10. Nádherně sedí do hry, je dosti dlouhý (a pokračuje i v 6 kapitole), obsahuje i takovou menší romanci, prostě vše co by jste si mohli přát.

11) Sellswords
Velmi detailně zpracovaný mód inspirovaný stejnojmennou sérií románů z pera R. A. Salvatora. Je třeba se vrátit do Podtemna, navštívit Menzoberranzan (rodné město Viconie, takže ji sebou nezapomeňte vzít) a když už jsme u toho, tak si udělat i čas na zachránění Jarlaxe a schůzku s Artemisem Entreretim. ( Mód začíná v 6 kapitole, po příchodu na pormenádů )

12) Tales of the Deep Gardens
Další poněkud rozsáhlejší dobrodružství odehrávající se na nových mapách, obsahuje velice zajímavé nové předměty úkoly atd. Autoři udělali velmi zajímavou práci co se týká barev a vypadá to moc pěkně. Dobrodružství začne pokecáním s tajemným mágem ve vládní čtvrti (musíte vyřešit menší hádanku, která může dát neagličtinářům docela zabrat).

13) I Shall Never Forget
Menší mód ve kterém budete pomáhat mágovi jménem Orion, který ztratil smysl života. Můžete mu moct jej znovu najít, nebo ho nechat v bídě a utrpení. Úkol začíná střídavě ve vladní čtvrti a promenádě, ale vyžaduje začít novou hru, nebo použít save těsně před východem z Irenicusova vězení. Další velmi dobře zpracovaný mód, který nádherně sedí do hra.

14) Back to Brynnlaw
Něco se děje... V Léčebně se něco děje a je na vás, aby jste to vyšetřili. Setkejte se s odpadlým zahaleným čarodějem, vrať se zpátky na ostrov a změňte osud všech jeho obyvatel podle svého. (Mód začíná až v kapitole 6, čaroděj je na promenádě)

15) Fade
Všichni víme, že BG2 nikdy nemělo pořádného zloděje a nově přidaná Hexat leze hodně lidem na nervy. Tady za ni máme víc než dobrou náhradu. Jedná se o dívku zlodějku, která je navíc z částu sukuba. Při instalaci si dokonce můžete vybrat, jestli chcete aby byla čistý zloděj, nebo stínový tanečník. Nejen, že má obstojné staty, dabing a pěkný portrét, ale navíc má plnohodnout romance. Pokud v partě potřebujete zloděje, je Fade jasná volba. Do party ji však můžete vzít POUZE v rámci spolčení se stínovými zloději (doporučuju začít novou hru, nebo použít save kde jste zlodějům ještě nedali jejich 15 000).

16) Yvette
Další problém BG2 byl, že měl jen jednoho čistého kněze (nádherná Viconie) a některý lidem vadilo (nechápu proč) že je zlá a tak ji sebou nikdy nebrali. Yvette je dobrá kněžka Lathander, která trpí ztránou paměti. Celkově má velice zajímavou minulost. Dabing a romance jsou samozřejmostí. Do party ji můžete vzít hned jak vyjdete z vězení. Stačí si koupit svitek od obézní dámy na promenádě.

17) Innershade
Nová vesnička obsahující pár VELMI zajímavých úkolů s příběhem, který se může táhnout až do ToB. Pěkný příjemný mód, který by klidně mohl být originální součástí Baldurs Gate. Pár kousků nové výbavy je samozřejmostí. Je více způsobů, jak se dozvědět o tomto místě, ale nejjednodušší je v noci zabít lupiče na promenádě (napadne vás sám) a vzít mu mapu.

Poznámka: Nevím jestli mód vyžaduje začít novou hru, ale v případě že by se vám vesnička nezobrazila na mapě světa, tak stačí do příkazového řádku napsat: CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ARISH1") a jste tam.

18) Bílá královna
Naprosto úžasný mód s úžasným příběhem a úžasnými novými předměty. O tom vážně nemá cenu psát, to si musíte zahrát. Nové místo na mapě se vám objeví po tom, co si přečte novou knížku od obchodníka s knihami na promenádě.

Poznámka: Podobný problém jako Innershade. Možná vyžaduje začít novou hru, jinak tam obchodník nemusí být. Taky se nová lokace nemusela objevit na mapě. Stačí ale kouzelné slůvko: CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("WQ0002") a jste tam.

19) Dungeon be gone
Někteří z nás už hráli BG2 mnohokrát a "útěk z vězení" kterým musíte na začátku projít, není zrovna nejzábavnější část. Co kdyby to šlo jinak? Co kdyby jste mohli celé vězení přeskočit, ale zároveň získat veškeré magické předměty, zkušenosti a peníze? Láká vás to? Pak je tento mód jako dělaný pro vás, protože přesně tohle dělá.

20) Romantické příležitosti
Hehehe, velmi peperný mód. Není vám někdy trochu nepříjemné, že hlavní hrdina/hrdinka, můžeme mít za hru jen jeden (no, pokud nepočítáte jistou věc v Podtemnu) "intimný vztah" ? Nelíbilo by se vám, kdyby jich bylo více? Co třeba takových pět desítek? Tento mód přidává do hry "pár" nových postav a umožňuje nevinný flirt, nebo případný sex s více než padesáti různými postavami. Příležitost pro může, ale i ženy. Do postele můžete dostat i samotnou Bodhi a Ellesime, nebo třeba Minsca a Edwina. Každopádně počítejte, že se vaší drahé polovičce nemusí líbit, že hupsnete do peřin s každým kdo na vás zamrká (Fade je plně podporovaná pro tento mód a bude zde mít dodatečné dialogy).

Tower of Deception přidává do hry úkol odehrávající se v opuštěné věži. Obsahuje nové lokace, nepřátele, předměty a dokonce i video. Za zmínku taky stojí to, že mód je přeložen do češtiny.

22) Romance s Imoen
"Ale já jsem nevěděl že jsme příbuzní!" :D
Tento mód vám umožní vést (velmi propracovanou) romanci s vaši sestrou.
Lidi jsou vážně úchylní...

Žerty stranou, romance s Imoen byla už před časy EE, považována za jednu z nejlepších.

23) Freedom's Reign & Reign of Virtue
Mód který přidává do hry nové obchodníky, několik nových setkání na mapě světa a něco mezi 80-90 novými předměty, které jsou rozprostřené po celém světě (ale většina je u obchodníků). Ačkoliv je zde hodně zajímavých zbraní, tak je jich docela velké množství silně OP. Mám o tomto módu smíšené pocity.

24) Překopaná reputace
Taky vám vždycky připadalo divné, že slevy v obchodech dostávají pouze hrdinové?
Proč by například zloději, nebo pašeráci měli dávat slevu nějakým svatým paladinům?
Navíc by to mělo logiku pouze tehdy, že by všichni obchodníci byli hodní, čestní a poctiví.

Jednoduchý módík, (jehož obsah je třeba nakopírovat do složky "override") který způsobí, že postupně klesající reputace bude přinášet stejnou slevu, jakou by přinášela ta postupně stoupající. Říkáte si, že to není fér, protože bude stačit hned ze začátku zabít pár vesničanů, takže hned budete na jedničce a dostanete maximální slevu? Omyl! Extrémně nízká reputace způsobí, že po vás půjdou elitní vojenské skupiny, které špatně vybavéné skupiny na nízkých úrovních roznesou na kopytech. Když chcete být zlí, tak musíte počítat s tím, že po vás půjde ruka zákona... ale v obchodech už vás nikdo nebude okrádat!

Už dlouho jsem měl ten nápad v hlavě, ale netušil jsem, že je to tak snadné na udělání.
Zásluhy za mód však patří Peccovi, který ho dal na můj popud dohromady.

Mód nově nabízí i bonus do reakce, aby na vás lidi i při nějnižší reputaci stále mluvili.

25) Překopané předměty
Pár předmětů mě vždycky štvalo, tak jsem sebral všechno co zbylo z mých ubohých moderských dovedností a z vypětím sil jsem ze sebe vymáčnuknul takový malý módík.

a) Plášť přesunutí (CLCK03) = Odstranil jsem rozmazaní
b) Dráp Kazgarotha (MISC72) = Odstranil jsem rozmazaní
c) Palcát ničení (DEVA) = Placát ničení +1 má moc pěkný unikátní model, ale když je vylepšený na +2, dostane hnusný model běžného palcátu. Tohle to opraví.
d) Boo (MISC84) = Boo je nyní použivatelný předmět a může sesílat "Poznej přesvědčení".
PROTOŽE BOO A JEHO NEOMYLNÝ ČICH DOKÁŽE POZNAT ZLO !!!
e) Zbroj z lidské kůže (LEAT21,ILEAT21) = Úžasná zbroj ale odporný vzhled. Naštěstí každý kožešník ví, že kůže jdou nabarvit. Třeba tuhle jsem nabarvil na černo (ikonu i barvy postavy při nosení
f) Šarlatové Ninja-To (WANINJA) = Skvělá zbraň, ale dobrá tak akorát pro zloděje na hodně vysoké úrovni. Tak jsem si s ní trochu pohrál a představuju vám Šarlatovou katanu. Změnil jsem celkem 3 věci. Zbraň teď vypadá jako katana a má i stejný dmg jako katana (ideální do páru s Zuřivostí nebes). Může ji používat každý, kdo může používat katanu. Její cena byla navýšena (v BG2 se stejně za chvíli topíte v penězích ale tohle vám alespoň zabrání získat velmi silný předmět příliš brzy).
g) Trpasličí vrhač (HAMM06) = Toto vrhací kladivo již nadále není použitelné pouze trpaslíky.

Můžete použít všechno, nebo jenom něco.
To o co stojíte, prostě nakopírujte do vaší složky "override".

Just been looking at what this spell does (testing it in-game). Surprised.

It's an attack that uses your fists.

When you cast it, you have 10 rounds (1 turn) in which you can make as many hits as you're able to.

NOTE: If you're a Bard and not in combat, once you cast Chill Touch you can put your chainmail back on; start a fight; and you have 10 rounds of (hopefully) landing hits while protected by your chainmail!

When rolling to-hit, you get a +4 bonus. So it's like you have fists +4.

If you hit you do:

fist damage (d.2) plus
any modifiers (e.g., +2 because you have 18 strength) plus
a +4 damage bonus

On top of this (assuming you hit), your enemy has to make a save throw (pretty sure it's vs. Spell) or they also take:

d.8 of cold damage
and -2 to their THAC0

So it's a pretty powerful spell.


Before posting this I looked to see if there was already a post on this. I couldn't reply to the one I found but my testing had 2 points of difference with that post.

(1) They said the spell description was wrong and that you take the d.8 cold damage automatically if you hit (it's just the -2 THAC0 you save for). That's not the case. I've seen attacks where they take the physical damage, but save successfully and don't take the cold damage (the cold damage is always written in blue and the physical damage in white). So the description IS correct.

(2) Although the post mentioned the +4 THAC0 bonus, it didn't mention the +4 bonus added to the fist damage - which is very significant.

So I chopped up 4 doggies, and made them into a yummy stew; but them big bulky umber colored things don't seem particularly interested in it. I suspect I'm going to end up killing the pesky things, using the time tested divide and conquer method, since there doesn't appear to be any time limit on how long you can goof around in the Keep. Still, I am curious why they aren't digging in.

Oh yeah; and who decided that they liked cooked food? I'd never have guessed you had to cook the damned dog steaks. You rarely see them stopping to cook their prey in the wild. What? Umber Hulks have barbecues at home when no one is looking?

Icewind Dale is littered with special NPC interactions that only trigger if you initiate the dialogue using a character of a specific race, class or kit, or a character with enough points in a specific attribute.

These interactions include everything from minor dialogue changes, to alternate ways of completeing quests, as well as additional quest rewards. As most people only converse using their party leaders, these special interactions tend to be easily missed.

Is there a compiled list of these interactions somewhere? If not does anyone want to submit any special interactions that they have discovered, and I'll start logging them in here.

Class and Kit specific interactions




Barbarian

1) When talking to Wylfdene at the barbarian camp, he will state that to the people of the ten towns the word Barbarian is synonymous savages, brutes and primitives. If you are a barbarian yourself you can respond "To me, the word 'barbarian' means freedom, and the wind on my face. I do not see your people as savages".


Bard

1) In Easthaven, many of the commoners will recognise you as a minstrel. If you offer to sing them a song, they will thank you by giving you a moonstone.
2) During the quest 'The dream song', speaking to the sea spirit with a bard will give you an additional dialogue option of responding to the sirens song with a song of your own (+1,200xp). A lot of bard unique dialogue follows eventually leading to another dialogue option where you ask the spirit to teach you her song (+1,200xp), additionaly you can request a token of good faith from the spirit for a number of minor gems.
3)In the Whistling Gallows, the tavern in Lonelywood, there is an Elvan bard named Murghdah. If you are a bard you can attempt to get him to exchange songs with you, but the drunk bard is too depressed and not in the mood.
4) When speaking to Tiernon for the first time, a bard will recognise his name as that of a legendary Dwarven weaponsmith who went missing many years ago. Once his identity has been confirmed you will recount a funny tale you once heard about an 'incident' caused by one of the dwarfs malfunctioning returning throwing hammers.
5) In Marketh's palace you will eventually come upon a man named Flozem. If received the portrait of Marketh from the gnome Callard outside the palace then you will gain a dialogue option where you can ask if Flozem really painted the picture. A bard will then gain an additional dialogue option, where you can convince him to leave Dorns Deep to pursue a career as an artist, earning you 60,000xp). Note: This one is easily missable. Its important that you find and speak to Flozem before you stumble upon his brother Fleezum. Conversing with Fleezum will always end in an unavoidable battle with the warrior, and if you kill Fleezum, then Flozem will become hostile when you later attempt to converse with him.

Cleric

1) (Cleric of Tempus only) Speaking to the priests at Easthavens Temple of Tempus, as a cleric of tempus leads to a few minor dialogue changes. You will be refered to as *initiate*, and if you ask about Jerrod you will be scolded for not knowing your faiths history.
2) In Kuldahar, if you ask a commoner about the local temples, a dialogue option will appear where you can attempt to convert them to the Illmater faith. This will reward you with +1,200xp.
3)(Cleric of Tempus only) In the final chapter, when Jerrod is trying to dispel the glyphs leading to Jerrods stone, he will comment that the glyphs were placed by Tempus himself, and that he doesn't know whether he has the power to deactivate them. If you are conversing with him using a Cleric of Tempus, then you will gain an additional reply: "We are both sworn to the Foehammer's Service, with my aid you are certain to succeed"
4)(Cleric of Tempus only) During the final battle with Poquelin, Everard opts to sacrifice himself to close the demonic portal, a Cleric of Tempus recieves several additional unique dialogue choices during the resulting exchange, starting with "This is your purpose here, isn't it? To fulfill Tempus's will. I see it clearly now", and followed by "Do what you must brother, I will witness your sacrifice".
5)(Cleric of Tempus only)Speaking to Hjollder for the first time, as a Cleric of Tempus changes a few of the dialogue options for example when he states he has received a vision from Tempos you can respond "I also serve the god of battles, tell me of your vision".
6)(Cleric of Tempus only)During your first encounter with the Barbarian leader Wylfdene, the topic of conversation will eventually lead to Jerrod's Stone and Tempus, there are a few dialogue options were you can mention that you serve the same god. After the encounter, you will be led outside, where the barbarians under orders from Wylfdene will ambush your party. A Cleric or Tempus can convince the barbarians to stand down by stating "I too serve Tempos, would you impede my duties?" and then following the resulting dialogue chain.


Druid

1) During the quest 'An Ogre with a headache', a druid can teach Ghereg of a remedy that will cure the ogre for +1,200xp. This is more a time saver as the remedy can be learned from Arundel, and given to the ogre later.
2) Asking the villagers in Kuldadahar about the local temple leads to a the commoner reflecting on the majesty of the great oak. You can then offer to bestow a natures blessing on the commoner for +1,200xp, and an aquamarine gem.
3) Whilst conversing with Emmerich Hawk the bowyer in Lonelywood. You can commend him on his reverence to nature, whilst promising that you will strive to maintain the natural balance in the area.
4) When speaking to the trapper Digby, a druid will comment that the trapping of animals is fine, so long as it is done in moderation, and is not wasteful. Later on, when Digby mentions that the barbarians are scaring all the animals west, a druid will also comment that the expansion and migration of man is disrupting the delicate balance of nature.
4) When assisting Tiernon with his *calling*, by helping him to craft his weapon, a druid gains an additional and unique dialogue option when choosing what the weapon should be "I see a finger beckoning me to step forward-yet the finger is a wicked blade, curved and sharp, like a talon". This option will lead to him crafting the powerful Scimitar Talon of the Gloomfrost +4.


Mage

1) On the third level of dragons eye you will encounter a sentient undead Lieutenant. If you speak to him with a mage you will realise that you are actually speaking to a necromancer who is communicating through the skeleton.
2) Towards the end Dragons Eye's third level, you will encounter another of the necromancers skeletal lieutenants. If you speak to it with a mage, you gain the dialogue option of challenging the necromancer Presio to a one on one mage dual, which lures her out into the open and away from her large force of undead guardians. Defeating her in this manner grants you an additional 1,200xp on top of her normal xp value.


Paladin


1) When debating the Philosophy of Tempus with Accadia in Easthaven's Temple, a Paladin will gain access to a slightly different dialogue path where you concede that you use war and conflict as a means to an end in your fight against Evil, but you do not revel in the act.
2) In Kuldahar, if you ask a commoner about the local temples, a dialogue option will appear where you can attempt to convert them to the Illmater faith. This will reward you with +1,200xp.
3) In the Kuldahar pass, you will find a young boy named Jermsy hiding in the closet of the old mill, after his family were murdered. When attempring to coax him out, a Paladin will gain an additional dialogue response, where you comment that if his family were good people then they will now be in a better place, and that justice will find their attackers.
4) During the quest 'Aldwin's Claim', if you use your Paladin to confront Aldwin about the hidden signet ring you found upstairs, he will comment that breaking into peoples locked containers is not very Paladin like, at which point you will repond by telling him you are not proud of your actions. You will also lose the option of keeping quiet about Aldwin's deception, which normally earns you free lodgings.
5)As a Paladin you can debate the evils and virtues of Necromancy with the Bonedancer Mytos (Kresselacks Tomb, first level) earning you 3,225xp, this is on top of the regular 3,225xp you can get for trying to pursue a peaceful resolution to the encounter. NOTE: You have to ask him questions in a specific order to trigger the Paladin only dialogue, the order is: 'Can I ask you some questions?' > 'Who are you again?' > 'Whats a Bonedancer?' the next option 'So you are responsible for these vile creatures' is the Paladin option, if you ask any other question up until this point then the paladin option will no longer trigger.
6) A paladin can challenge the necromancer Presio to one on one battle when addressing her final undead lieutenant, doing so lures Presio away from her undead guardians making for a much easier battle. Defeating her in this manner grants you an additional 1,200xp on top of her normal xp value.
7) On the fourth level of Dragon's Eye a Paladin will be able to sense the evil in Albion the 'goodly priest of Aldoth', seeing through the talonites ruse and initiating combat immediately (xp reward needs confirmation) .
8) At the conclusion of chapter two, you will return to a Kuldahar besieged by Orogs. Fight your way to Arundels home and enter (You must have your Paladin placed in the leader slot for this, as Arundel will automatically initiate dialgue with your party leader when you enter). A Paladin will be able to detect 'Arundels' Evil, revealing him as an imposter before he would normally reveal it himself.
9)(Blackguard only) When speaking to Vexing thoughts for the second time, he will ask if you are ready to enter into his service. A Blackguard gains a unique dialogue option where you can tell him "My soul is already spoken for, find another slave!"


Ranger

1) When the Lonelywood bowyer, Emmerich Hawk, tells you that he acts as the woods protector, a ranger can compliment him on his noble calling whilst also assuring him that he has nothing to fear from you.
2) When talking to Digby the trapper in Lonelywood, a ranger gains three unique dialogue options at set points during the conversation, all of which annoy Digby into ending the conversation, they are: "Your traps are a danger to animals AND people, its no wonder someone is looking into it", "I believe it would be in your best interest to listen to him, trapping so close to the town and lake could cause problems" and finally "Your attitude to nature is horrible, you should be ashamed".


Thief

1) (Assassin only) When talking to Kresselack for the first time he will request that you track down and kill the Aurilite Priestess Lysan, if you spoke to him with an assassin you gain an extra dialogue option where can demand payment for the 'contract', he will pay you with a Horn Coral Gem up front, and offer the contents of his sarcophagi once the job is done (The latter you would have gotten regardless).
2) (Assassin only) During your first encounter with the Barbarian leader Wylfdene, he will eventually accuse you of being an assassin sent to eliminate him. If you actually are an assassin, then you will gain an additional dialogue option "If I'd been sent to slay you, Wylfdene, you would already be dead. No, that is not why I am here".

Race specific interactions



Note: Each individual commoner is limited to only one race specific interaction, if you speak to a commoner as a dwarf, and then speak to the same commoner as an elf, you wont get the elf interaction, you will need to find a new commoner.

Dwarf

1) In Easthaven talking to a commoner as a Dwarf results in a conversation where the citizen asks whether you are friends with Hildreth, or whether you are in the Dale planning to 'liberate' Dorn's Deep. If you ask about Dwarven ruins you gain a dialogue option where you can ask the citizen to contribute to your expedition, doing so earns you an Anders Gem
2) When conversing with Soth, one of the escaped slaves in the Wyrm's Tooth Museum you can ask "What are you doing?" this leads to a dialogue chain where he talks about the museum, eventually revealing the museum is dedicated to a Dugmaren Brightmane. A Dwarf will recognise this name instantly as the Dwarven god of scholars, inventors and explorers.
3) When speaking to Tiernon for the first time, a dwarf will gain two unique dialogue options. One referring to his clan name and the fact he is a far way from home, and another one where you actually recognise his full name, and comment that his clan told you he had been missing for years.
4) When assisting Tiernon with his *calling*, by helping him to craft his weapon, a dwarf gains an additional and unique dialogue option when choosing what the weapon should be "A Hammer, but black vein's run through it - I can feel the ice within it, pounding, like a heartbeat... Nay, like a dwarven drumbeat". This will lead to him crafting the powerful warhammer Blood of the Gloomfrost +4.

Elf

1) In Easthaven, speaking to a commoner as an elf results in them commenting that 'Your kind' don't usually venture into the cold north. You can scold him, telling him that the elves had already settled the four corners of the world, long before man walked the earth. The commoner will also tell you that another elf is staying at the Inn.

Gnome

1) If you speak to an Easthaven commoner as a gnome, you will be mistaken for a relative of Oswald Fiddlebender, and can learn a little about his shop and flying ship in Kuldahar. Speaking to the villagers in Kuldahar results in similar conversations when you ask about the flying ship.

Halfling

1) In Easthaven you gain some unique dialogue when speaking to a commoner as a Halfling. The commoner mention seeing another 'little one' recently, you can chose to ask him about the other Halfling, who turns out to be Aldwin in Kuldahar, or you can choose to take offence at being called 'little one', and challenge them to a fight, the latter will result in the commoner trying to make peace with you, by gifting you a Knucklehead Trout

Half-Orc

1) If you speak to an Easthaven commoner as a Half-Orc, they will comment on your heritage and take pity on you, making assumptions about your parents and your conception.


Gender specific interactions

Male

1) When speaking to Dirty Llew, his dialogue is vastly different when speaking to him as a man as opposed to a woman. Firstly he is rather blunt and rude with you, for example if leave without buying anything he will go off on a foul mouthed tirade about what a cheapskate you are. Secondly if you ask Dirty Llew how he got the name 'Dirty Llew' he will proudly inform you it is because of his fondness for the ladies, apparently he has quite the reputation. Finally his prices are much more expensive when speaking to him as a male.
2)When speaking to Maiden Ilmadia in lower Dorns Deep, ask for the *honor* of her name, male characters are then given a second option to ask "Whats a good looking Elvan maiden like you doing in a dwarven forge like this?", she is not impressed, but concedes that you are more agreeable than the fire giants she is forced to work with.
3)If the first character you speak to Ambere Dunn, the Lonelywood drunkard with is a male, then Ambere will be very flirty with you. Eventually she reveals that she has been bedding every man who passes through town in the hopes of finding someone to take her away. A unscrupulous male can 'take advantage' of Ambere losing -1 reputation point for the deed (Note reputation cannot be increased in IWD, so shop prices will be permanently raised as a result).

Female

1)On the fourth floor of the Severed Hand, Lehland the shopkeep will refer to your character as SAH. A female character will misinterpret it as meaning SIR, and will gain an additional dialogue option where your insulted at being confused for a man.
2) Being a woman changes the interaction with Dirty Llew vastly from that of a man. Not only that, but your charisma will also affect how he talks to you.
*He will become very friendly and outgoing when speaking to females, but if you have 16 CHR or more he will become even more of a boot licker, constantly complimenting and praising you, even getting flustered and stuttering at times.
* If you ask Dirty Llew how he got the name 'Dirty Llew' he will lie and make up a story. If your character has 16 CHR or more, then he will become flustered and embarrassed and make up an even more far fetched story.
*Females get a whopping 50% store discount, when browsing his wares!
*Finally he will reduce his fee for crafting the beetle shield from 10,000gp for a man, to 9,000gp for a woman. However if you happen to have 16 CHR or more, than he will start falling over himself trying to appease you, dropping the price to 7,000 and then 5,000gp.
3) When speaking to Maiden Ilmadia in lower Dorns Deep, ask for the *honor* of her name, female characters are then given a second dialogue option where you can state "Its hard being the odd woman out, isn't it". She agrees and this will warm Ilmadia to you slightly.


Attribute specific interactions




Jed's Alcoholism: In Easthaven, if speak to old Jed with a character possessing at least 16 INT, you will gain an additional dialogue option where you identify the root cause of his dependency on alcohol. After discussing this for a while you gain a dialogue option where you can try to convince him to quit drinking, you need at least 15 CHR to succeed, which will earn you 1,200xp and 6gp in the process.

Uligar's Tribute: In the Ruined Mill on the Kuldahar Pass, you will encounter an orc named Uligar who demands tribute in exchange for your lives. Ask him "Why should I? If your character has at least 14 INTand 14 CHR you will gain an extra dialogue option "Quit threatening me or I'll slice your belly open.... " Uligars next response will depend on your Strength, a score of 14 STR or more will intimidate Uligar into leaving you alone, less than 14 and he will laugh at you before attacking.

Albion and the Temple of Eldath:When you first speak to Albion, you can quiz him about the Heartstone Gem. He will claim that he knows little, and soon after the conversation will end. If you speak to him a second time, you can ask him "Are you sure, you dont know anything about the Heartstone Gem". If your character has at least 16 INT, you can catch him in a lie at this point, exposing his deception and earning you 24,000XP. Be aware that you lose access to several minor NPC interactions, the librarian who sells spell scrolls and an inn if you expose the talonites early, and that you would have still gotten the experience later on in the chapter, as exposing the group is a prerequesite to finishing the level.

Dirty Llew, Ladies Man!:I touched upon this in the gender specific interaction section. Dirty Llew converses totally different to female characters, than he does with male characters. However, if your lady also has a high charisma (16 CHR +), then he becomes a flustered, stuttering, boot licking mess. He will also offer you a large 50% reduction off his fee for crafting the Beetle Shield, making it for 5,000gp as opposed to 10,000.

Ambere Dunn - The drunk and the gentleman: When speaking to Ambere Dunn the Lonelywood drunkard, there is a dialogue path where you can express your disgust that she is offering to bed any man who will take her away from the spine of the world. A character with at least 13 CHR+ will gain a dialogue option that starts "You have an honest husband, who does honest work...." selecting this will begin another dialogue chain that will guilt her into returning home to her family, and becoming a better wife and mother, this will earn you 15,000xp (You can also convince her to leave town on her own for the same experience reward, and this option doesnt require charisma).

Hailey Dunn - The girl who cried well!
Not specifically attribute based, but when Haley Dunn the little girl from Lonelywood, is begging for you to rescue her brother who has fallen into a well, an evil aligned character gains an additional conversation option, where you can tell her that its not your problem, and that her brother deserved to fall down the well. This leads to an extended conversation with the girl, where you begin to identifiy holes in the girls story, gradually picking her lie apart, earning you 15,000xp in the process. Later on when she is refusing to go home to her father, there is another evil only response where you can tell her, you will throw her down the well if she doesn't get home this instant.

Wylfdene - Combat Challenge Denied!:
During your first meeting with Wylfdene, you will gradually come to an impasse in the negotiations, where you dejectedly state that this is a waste of time because Wylfdene is twisting the meaning your words. An evil aligned character, will gain a unique dialogue option at this point where you can propose to settle the dispute in one on one combat. Wylfdene will refuse the challenge, stating you are unworthy by deed or by blood, but you will still earn 84,000xp for the attempt (Which is the same reward you would earn if you attempted to reach a peaceful resolution).

Barbarian Betrayal:After your first meeting with the barbarian chieftain Wylfdene, you will be ambushed by his men as you leave the camp. If you have 14CHR or higher than the dialgue option "If it is the will of Tempos that I serve a greater purpose, then attacking me is tantamount to defying him" will end the stand off without bloodshed for 42,000xp. Less than 14chr and the barbarians will attack.

Mayor Baldermar Thurlow - Beating out the truth! Once you have visited the barbarian camp for the first time, you can return to mayor Baldemar Thurlow and *try* to convince (I believe it is a CHR based, but I have not fully tested it yet) him to admit his secret plot to assassinate Wylfdene. An evil aligned character can take things one step forward and threaten him with a unique dialogue that will make him reveal everything "Look you spineless worm... You'll tell us everything we want to know, or I'll cut out your lying tongue and beat you to death with it!" (There is a hefty xp reward but I'll have to go back to verify the exact amount)

So, sometimes I like to do some 'side-projects'. In this case, I took a break from writing for Sirene and made this. This mod makes Pai'Na, the half-drow druid in the Graveyard tombs, a joinable NPC. I made this in about two days, so one could consider this a 'one-weekend NPC', except that I didn't make her in a weekend. I was going to fully complete her but I got too lazy to write the ToB banters and I felt bad for writing this and leaving it for ages before I bothered to finish the writing. So, there's no ToB banters as of yet, but there are interjections. Sorry :(

Introduction & Details

This mod makes Pai'Na, the true neutral half-drow hivemaster druid in the Graveyard tombs, a playable NPC with banters and interjections. She has a unique hivemaster kit.

I shifted her stats around to favor a pureclass druid but kept the total the same.

She has one banter with every NPC in SoA and a few talks with the PC. She may fight Viconia, but a sufficiently charismatic PC can prevent it if he/she so wishes.

Hivemaster Kit
-----------------------

HIVEMASTER: The Hivemaster is a druid that focuses on fostering and protecting insects and arachnids, including giant versions thereof. Most commonly stylise themselves after either communal insects, such as ants or bees (hence the name), or predators like spiders, scorpions and dragonflies.

Advantages:
- Immunity to poison.
- May cast Web and Spider Swarm as 2nd and 4th level priest spells respectively.
- May shapeshift into a huge spider once per day.
- Level 8: May shapeshift into a sword spider once per day.
- Level 14: May shapeshift into a wraith spider once per day.

Disadvantages:
- May not shapeshift into default animal forms.

Widow's Kiss

This obsidian ring is quite large and embedded with a large spider-shaped gemstone. It is Pai'Na's most (and only) treasured possession and she refuses to even remove it.

STATISTICS:

Combat abilities:
- Once per day, may summon a swarm of 12 spiders under Pai'Na's control. The spiders are weak but have a powerful poison and can be extremely dangerous in a group.

Equipped abilities:
– Can memorize one extra divine spell of each level

Q: Voicing?
A: No.

Q: Hey, she feels really out of character!
A: She might, but having three lines for the vanilla game isn't much character to go on. I wrote her in the way I found appealing. I did not take the UB writing into account, because I really could not maintain that character.

Q: What parties does she fit in?
A: All sorts. She doesn't particularly like any NPC over another, except for Viconia, who she hates.

Q: Why does she fight with Viconia?
A: She despises drow. You can stop them with a Charisma of 15 or above. Go pick up the Ring of Human Influence.

Q: Isn't she a bit overpowered?
A: Maybe. I always felt druids tapered off with level so she'll at most keep up with your other characters, but she certainly is a step up from Cernd and maybe even Jaheira. She won't break the game's difficulty, that's for certain. Be thankful I didn't keep her vanilla 50% magic resistance.

Q: Any personal quests?
A: No.

Q: Romance?
A: At the moment, no.

Q: Is this mod compatible with Unfinished Business?
A: Unfortunately, not yet. This mod overrides Pai'Na's dialogue and character, so you won't be able to get the Spider's Bane quest.
