Not being able to get belt of antipode

Hi, I am quite new to the game so this is my first play through. However I just discovered that I cannot obtain the belt of antipode because it did not occur to me to go loot Gorion's body for the item the first time I was in the map lion's way.

Now only after reading a post about new magical items in the General Discussion Section did I realise that there was an unique item in Gorion's body. Could you make it such that unique items stay in the game world permenantly regardless of where the item is in? I do not want to restart nor do I wish to edit my saves as this is my first playthrough with the game and I want to keep it legit.

Basically the "bug" is unique magical items not staying in the game.
