ARCHAIC BETA 5.0 RELEASED!
Work in Progress: 'Archaic HD' Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition GUI (Graphical User Interface) Mod. This will work on a scaled and non-scaled GUI on all resolutions. This is a true labor of love and my motivation is driven by your feedback. If you have questions please take some time to read through the comments or do a search to see if your question has already been asked so I don't end up spending valuable time answering repeat questions. ARCHAIC GUI BETA 5.0 (core files):
DESCRIPTION: Main GUI, Start Screen, Inventory, Record, Map, Journal, Priest Scroll, Mage Book, Options Screen, Save/Load Screen, Popup Box and more. Download comes with Bronze Icons, Archaic Custom Inventory: Warrior Mosaic, Main Menu: Black Pits and BG Start Screen: Friendly Arm Inn.

INSTRUCTIONS: Install GUI first then optional button and/or inventory sets. Place zip file contents in your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\Data\00766\override" folder. ("Your BGEE install path\00766\override") Make sure you are placing the .mos, .bam, .chu, etc... files in your override folder and not the actual folder 'Archaic BETA 5.0'. If you are prompt to replace files that is fine. You will simply be replacing the current GUI you have installed.
Known Bug: Scroll bars on the right stats section of the Archaic Custom Inventory screen are out of place. Fix coming soon. This does not break the game or cause much of an issue so don't worry.
BUTTON SETS 2.0 (optional add-on):
DESCRIPTION: Bronze and Gold custom button Sets (Gold Icon Set includes gold action buttons on bottom GUI). Silver-blue buttons from BG 2 coming soon by popular request.

I'm creating all new button sets for options, main menu, start menu record screen and more. Should be a huge improvement from the stock buttons. Putting the final touches on BETA 5 for its release either today or tomorrow. BETA 5 is going to be the biggest release so far with many improvements and additional features.

Working on Archaic Custom Inventory right now and I've got the background complete which is about half of the work. Next - I need to arrange all the elements and then start testing. Should be released with BETA 5 without a problem.

Working on finalizing BETA 5.0 for release within the next few days. Archaic is starting to get some polish to it. It sure will be exciting to see a final version as some point.

Good news! BETA 4.0 will be out tonight with 4 custom inventory screens: Dragon Mosaic, Irenicus Mosaic, Plain (with GUI enhancements), and Sword Coast Mosaic. Now the fun part of putting all the screenshots and downloads together in a neat package.

BETA 3.0 released with major improvements on bottom panel button visibility. No busy vine texture behind the buttons. Removed gold borders from GUI. Newly skinned Record screen. New BETA 3.0 screenshots updated. Feedback welcomed!

Based on feedback I make the colors less yellow/red and toned it down with a some tweaks to the design. BETA 2.0 released.
All buttons complete and beta 1.0 is ready for download and testing. Please leave your feedback. This beta is for the main interface only. All other screens such as inventory are being worked on for the next beta release. *Updated screenshots for BETA 1.0.
